Sip/Stir Coffee

Sip Stir Coffee is located in Highland Village, Texas on Justin road. It's a very cozy and cute coffee shop with a huge variety of choices. You can make choices from your favorite coffee to your favorite food. This place we definitely recommend to you guys.

The coffee at Sip/Stir Coffee is very good in our opinion. I ( Lenny ) had a delicious cold brew. I feel that my coffee was just right for me.. I ( Benny ) had an enjoyable americano. I feel that my drink was pretty good.

Ambiance Rating:  9 (out of 10 with 10 being best)

The ambiance, we thought, was really cool.  The place had a lot of space and had a really cool feel to it. It also used to be Edison's, which we have also reviewed in this blog as well. In our opinion, we feel that you guys should definitely check it out.

Kimzey's Coffee

Overall Rating:   9 (out of 10 with 10 being best)

Kimzey's Coffee is located in Argyle, Texas off of 377. This obviously means that it's a bit of drive, but it's definitely worth it in our opinion. Kimzey's has a cute feel to it's environment as well.

The coffee at Kimzey's is really good in our opinion. However, we do wish there were more options to their menu.  I ( Lenny ) had a cortado. I feel that my coffee wasn't the right choice for me, but that was mostly because I was trying something new. I ( Benny ) had a latte. I feel that my coffee was tasty and really good, but not amazing.

Ambiance Rating:  10 (out of 10 with 10 being best)

We thought the ambiance was amazing and really cool..  The place is basically a really cute house and decorated very nicely. It was kind of like walking walking into Snow White and the seven dwarfs' house.

151 Coffee

151 Coffee is located in Flower Mound, Texas on Long Prairie road. It's a small coffee shop with lot's of variety. However, there isn't really much of a place to sit and it only has a drive thru

The coffee at 151 Coffee is really good in our opinion. I ( Lenny ) had a delicious, flavored cold brew. I feel that my coffee had just the right taste for me. I ( Benny ) had a delightful honey vanilla latte. I feel that my coffee was flavorful and very tasty.

Ambiance Rating:  6 (out of 10 with 10 being best)

The ambiance, we thought, was alright.  The place only has a drive thru and you can only sit outside. With this coffee shop, you'd have to go on a day when it's not so cold outside. Or you could just take it to go as well. In our opinion, we wish it had more space inside where you could sit down.

Cafe Green Bean

 Cafe Green Bean is a donut shop with coffee that is on Cross Timbers road by the YMCA. Personally we think their coffee is so-so. Their coffee is just like a cup of coffee you can make in your very own home., but their customer service is BEYOND AMAZING. The people are very nice and welcoming when you walk in.

Coffee Rating:  4 (out of 10 with 10 being best)

The coffee at Cafe Green Bean is ok. Like we said at the beginning, you can make the same cup of coffee in your home or even get it at your nearest gas station. The food is really great and so is the customer service so if you do come to Cafe Green Bean, don't come just for the coffee. Plus if you get a donut there, you also get two donut holes for free that come with it. I ( Lenny ) had a hazelnut coffee with a blueberry donut and two donut holes. I ( Benny ) had hazelnut with a vanilla flavor.

Ambiance Rating:  8 (out of 10 with 10 being best)

The ambiance is pretty good if we do say so ourselves. When you walk in, you are greeted and welcomed in by very nice employees. You also see a display of pictures with very beautiful artwork. Definitely recommend you come if you want to see just that. But you might as well grab some donuts while you're there too.

Sukoon Coffee and Ice Cream

Sukoon Coffee and Ice Cream is located off of Old Orchard and Main Street. It's also right next to Mama's Daughter's Diner as well.

Sukoon's got really good coffee. We DEFINITELY recommend you try it out! I ( Lenny ) had a " White Mocha Latte " and it was soooooooo good! I was very pleased with it. It had just the right amount of flavor to satisfy me, which I love because I'm not a fan of having to flavor my coffee on my own. I ( Benny ) had an " Almond Latte ". I definitely loved it! It was very tasty and flavorful. I wasn't disappointed one bit! :D

The ambiance is very nice and cozy. It's got a nice seating area with couches and a coffee table in the back of the shop. The walls are a nice, warm orange color and all around the shop is a display of wall decor with lanterns and lamps to make the shop have a very peaceful feel to it.














                                                                           
         

Edison ( Parker Square )

Edison's in Parker Square is the second location here in Flower Mound. It has the feel of an independent coffee shop rather than a chain. The coffee tastes great and it has lots of unique choices and flavors. The ambiance is top-notch.

The coffee at Edison's is really good.  There are lots of choices and unique flavors.   I (Benny) had the seasonal coffee called the " Arctic Puffin ". It was contained with vanilla, pine, and mint latte dusted with crushed peppermint. Personally, I didn't loooovvve it, but it was a good experience to try it. I (Lenny) had a cold brew. My cold brew was contained with coffee, and half vanilla and Half n' half to add a little bit of flavor. We also enjoyed Edison's food as well! I ( Lenny ) had the " Adult grilled cheese " and I have to say it didn't make me feel any different which is kind of disappointing. I will give credit for it being really good though. I ( Benny ) had the " Ham and Cranberry Melt ". I thought is was so FREAKING GOOD! Definitely recommend it! :)

The ambiance is where Edison's really shines.  The place is big with lots of room and has a lot open space. It's also got a lot more light which gives a more brighter feeling to it. The look and feel of the place is like a small, independent coffee shop as well as the one in Highland Village. The location Edison is in is nice because for anyone that goes to NCTC, you get the opportunity to grab yourself a coffee before you start your classes. It's also nice for families that want to get together while they walk around Parker Square and enjoy some nice warm/cool coffee.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to Flo Mo Coffee Talk with Lenny and Benny

Hi Everybody!

This is a new blog brought to you by Lanie Ramirez (Lenny) and her uncle, Ben Swinney (Benny).  We are checking out all the top coffee shops in the Flower Mound, Lewisville and Highland Village area and giving you the scoop (see what I did there -- scoop....coffee!).

We're doing this for fun, and an excuse to enjoy good coffee and fun chats.   But also, we want to let you know about the great coffee spots in the Flo Mo area and hope you are able to find some spots where you can enjoy fun, chats and coffee with your besties also.
